Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT)
Waterford Institute of Technology (WIT) carries out independent validation test of wood fuel quality on behalf of the Wood Fuel Quality Assurance Scheme. All test methods are those specified by the European Solid Biofuel Standards. The testing capacity and resources developed by WIT in testing were funded through the Department of Agriculture Fisheries and Food COFORD Forest Energy research programme.

Teagasc
Teagasc is the agriculture and food development authority in Ireland.
