Woods and McCauleys Certified to WFQA
Congratulations to Woods Firewood Products Ltd, Castlerea and McCauley Woodfuels, Mohil who have both recently been awarded Wood Fuel Quality Assurance Scheme certification. Certified wood supply will now have a strong presence in the mid northwest region with these suppliers bringing certified firewood and woodchip onto the market.
We would like to congratulate Harry Woods and Brian and Kenny McCauley on their achievement.

Aughrim Timber and Stake awarded WFQA Certification
Run by the Hyde family in Aughrim, Co. Galway, Aughrim Timber and Stake have recently been certified by the WFQA for quality woodchip sourced from sustainable resources. With three generations of the family in the business Pat, Anthony and Simon have been supplying woodchip in the Galway area and surrounding counties for almost 10 years, the family home and business offices are also heated by their own woodchip.
WFQA Stand at SEAI Energy Show 2013
The WFQA will be holding an information stand for the scheme at the SEAI Energy Show 2013 in the RDS on the 10th and 11th of April. We will have up to date information on the quality assurance scheme, and on our certified suppliers. We will also be able to advise any fuel suppliers looking to get certified.

Quality assured, sustainably produced wood fuel is now available to Irish consumers
The Wood Fuel Quality Assurance Scheme applies to Wood Logs, Wood Briquettes, Wood Pellets and Wood Chip. Wood fuel products with the WFQA label assures the consumer that the wood fuel is:

Worrel Wood Chip are based in Laois / Offaly and provide Wood Chip and Firewood. Wood Chip is delivered in 10m3 and 90m3 quantities, or can be collected. Firewood is supplied in 20 litre bags (50 per pallet) or 2.4m3bags and is delivered anywhere in the country.
